Educational Foundation Scholarships

The Progress Club Scholarship Progress Club Scholarship Recipients 
The Progress Club Scholarship is offered through the MCPS Educational Foundation and made possible by a grant from The Progress Club. This scholarship provides an opportunity for graduating seniors who need financial assistance to attend Montgomery College. The Progress Club supports worthy charities through their fundraising efforts and silent art auctions. Scholarships are awarded only to MCPS students.

Dr. Paul L. Vance Scholarship Paul Vance Scholarship Recipients 

The Montgomery County Public Schools Educational Foundation established the Paul L. Vance Scholarship Fund in honor of the former superintendent.  The scholarships will be granted only to MCPS graduating seniors who plan to attend Montgomery College full-time, demonstrate financial need, and show academic potential.  Although a minimum grade point average of 2.0 is required, students with higher grade point averages may be given preference. Counselor or teacher recommendations are important considerations as well.

Legislative Scholarships 

These include both the Maryland Delegate and Maryland Senatorial Scholarships. Student must reside in District 15, 16, 18, or 20. This can be checked by visiting the Who Are Your Elected Officials web site. Preference is given to those students who plan to attend one of the Montgomery College Campuses. Students planning to attend other colleges in Maryland may apply and will be considered if funds are available.
