About the Program

The Heating and Air Conditioning program (HVAC) program prepares students for the challenges and demands of an exciting and technical career.  Students learn a variety of basic and advanced heating, ventilating, and air conditioning principles in a combination of classroom and work-site experiences.  An integral part of the instructional program is participation in the student  built house project.  Students completing this program are eligible to receive credit at Montgomery College in the Construction Technology program as well as industry recognized credentials through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).
