| Guidelines
For Selection Of Dramatic Productions |
| Outstanding
secondary school theater arts program can advance the culture, taste,
and aesthetic awareness and appreciation of the school and community.
It is the responsibility of the Montgomery County Public Schools to
provide quality theatrical experiences and opportunities for students
as part of the curricular and extra-curricular program. |

| Guidelines
For Auditions For Dramatic Productions |
| The audition
is the foundation upon which an acting ensemble can cooperatively
prepare a quality production. It is also a valuable learning experience
for the students. Consequently, careful planning and procedures need
to be followed in order to insure maximum use of time, high standards
in production quality, and equal opportunity for all. All Montgomery
County secondary school directors of dramatic productions are urged
to implement these guidelines as much as possible in order to achieve
those objectives. |
