While different schools and offices are at different stages of modernization of their computer images, MCPS is using two different versions of online forms. The version found on the website through the search engine is compatible with older images. The forms that are compatible with the newer images are available on-line through the PDF version of the Forms Register. We provide the appropriate link to each version of the Request for Interpreters on this page.
If you have problems, please contact the Language Assistance Services Unit at
301-230-0674. We will do what we can to talk you through the process.
Follow the appropriate set of instructions below for your computer image.
If your computer has Adobe Acrobat Reader 8.0 or later:
- Complete Form 311-10: Request for Interpreters on-line.
- Save the file to a location in which you will readily find it..
- Give the file a unique name and save it with all of the relevant information.
- Include the form with the document to be translated in your e-mail to Interpretations@mcpsmd.org.
NOTE: You may want to make a link to the form for future use. If you have problems creating a link, consult your user support specialist at location.
If your computer has a full version of Adobe Acrobat: and does NOT have Adobe Acrobat Reader 8.0 or later:
- Download Form 311-10: Request for Interpreters from the MCPS website to a harddisk or server. This version is
- Navigate to the program Adobe Acrobat 5.0, Adobe Acrobat 6.0, or Adobe Acrobat 7.0. (Any version of Adobe Acrobat Reader before version 8.0 does not have the capability of saving changes).
- Open the program.
- Go to the File menu, select Open, and navigate to the form, opening it from within Adobe Acrobat.
- Fill out the form and save it with a unique name, preferrably one easily related to the name of the document for which the form is being submitted.
- This should allow you to save the completed form, with all of the relevant information, and include the form with the document to translated in your e-mail to Interpretations@mcpsmd.org.
