Equipment Loans for Interpretation Services
The Language Assistance Services Unit (LASU) loans audio equipment to schools and offices for use in interpreted meetings. Schools and offices may request equipment for meetings interpreted by their own personnel, volunteers, or an interpreter contracted by the Language Assistance Services Unit.
To request interpretation equipment, the appropriate administrator completes Part 3 of MCPS Form 311-10: Request for Interpreters (PDF) and attaches that request in an e-mail sent to Interpretations no less than 10 working days prior to pick-up.
Equipment Pick-up and Return
Equipment must be picked up at Rocking Horse Road Center, Room 121 (4910 Macon Road, Rockville) and delivered back to Rocking Horse Road Center by staff from the requesting school or office.
