to be
taken
seriously.

-
Appropriate
behavior
and
care
for

and

property
is

the
youth
chorus.
-
Failure
to
follow
these
policies

MCYC.
Membership in MCYC is an honor. To help achieve the highest possible level of singing, attendance is expected at all rehearsals. If emergency circumstances cause an absence, students may be required to demonstrate their knowledge of the music in an appointment with the director or manager, before gaining re-admittance.
Members are expected to act in a professional manner and to remain focused throughout the rehearsal. Appropriate behavior and care for personal and school property is expected. All MCPS policies apply to participation in Youth Chorus. Failure to follow these policies and guidelines may result in dismissal from MCYC.
Music and folders (provided by MCYC) should be brought to every rehearsal and returned after the final performance. Singers should also bring a pencil to each rehearsal. The concert attire will be announced by the director.
