MCPS Choral Octavos Archive MCPS keeps an library of choral music octavos which have been purchased over they years for use by County honor choirs as a resource for MCPS Choral teachers. This collection is available to teachers who wish to borrow music for study and performance with their school ensembles. The collection is divided into a mixed choir and treble choir collections, respectively maintained by Judy Dubose and Kris Zinkievich. In order to borrow octavos from the collection, please read the following guidelines and then download the Library Request Form. You may also search the contents of the collections using the downloadable Excel spreadsheets below. MCPS Choral Octavo Library Guidelines In an effort to maintain an organized lending library, and to assure that all music is accounted for, please complete the Library request form [see downloadable version below] and send it to me as an attachment when requesting music. Please return music within three months of the date of receiving it. Please inventory (count) the music and return it in numerical order, as it was sent to you. Please replace any missing or damaged copies with new copies – not photocopies. Please save a copy of your request and slip a hardcopy of that request into the envelope with the music when you return it.  Make notes on that paper if there are missing or damaged copies to account for. All music should be in the Pony no later than June 1.  Your consideration in adhering to this final date is appreciated, as I too, wish to leave school at the appointed hour on the last day of school.  Finding your music in my mailbox on the first day of school in August is also not appreciated.  I’m sure you understand.
