Web
There are not a hundred garbled links here. Only the select few that
I have found that offer ideas for the preschool teacher that can be
implemented right now. In selecting these links, I have chosen only
those that focus on preschool, leaving out sites that have resources
for PreK-12 or, more commonly, K-12. You can be confident that you will
not waste a lot of time looking for content by following these links.
In many cases, the link is not to the home page of the organization,
but to the page dealing with preschool. Enjoy!

- This award winning website has resources, downloads, and how to
projects for early childhood.

- A database of graphics, video, and sounds sorted by media type and
category.

Tinsnips
- This site focuses on tips for kids with autism, but many of the
snacks, ideas, and themes are appropriate for all children. Also,
there is a good list of links to other resource sites.

- This site has ideas organized by theme. Under each theme, you can
find songs, activities, and curriculum links.

Childhood Greets the Web
- This is one of the first listing of sites that I have found that
has many links that take you to sites that are not just more collections
of links. Many of the links listed are actual activities that you
can use with preschoolers right on the web. They are all described
accurately so you can choose wisely which one to click on.

Chalkboard
- This site has an listing of ideas for preschool and kindergarten
teachers organized by type of idea: snack, art, craft, holiday, math/science,
rhymes, social studies, etc. They are not organized by theme.

Theme Links for Early Childhood Educators
- Linda has compiled the thematic units from many other pages to create
this categorical list. Much like this page, you can use your browser
to search for a particular word since all the themes are listed on
the main page.

Mrs. Peterson's Preschool Page
- This page has a no nonsense approach to getting the information
that you want. The most useful section is the "thematic units."
There aren't a lot of them, but there is hardly a wait for the pages
to load and you can get right to the theme you are interested in.

- This site has ideas derived from the daycare-l listserve. They are
also organized under various categories. You'll find craft ideas,
snacks,

- This page offers reviews of books useful in preschool as well as
interesting teaching ideas for some of the best books.
