Online Teacher Preparation in Technology Education
|
|
The Maryland State Department of Education has formed a partnership with Valley City State University (VCSU) to offer an online teacher preparation program in Technology Education beginning in the Fall of 2007. The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) is currently the only institution in the state that offers a teacher education program in Technology Education. VCSU in North Dakota offers a teacher education program in Technology Education that is 100% online and available to Maryland Technology Education teachers and teacher candidates. This partnership between MSDE and VCSU expands the pre-service and in-service options at the undergraduate levels in Technology Education.
