The primary goal of the NTI Program is to support and retain novice and experienced new-to-MCPS educators through a comprehensive induction system that improves instructional practice. The secondary goal of NTI is to develop the leadership capacity of new-to-MCPS educators, mentors, and other critical personnel. These goals support student achievement.
Geraldine Duval has a new position and is now coordinating the MCPS National Board Certification Program (NBCT). We know she will bring her same level of outstanding commitment, dedication, knowledge and service to her new position that she has given to the New Teacher Induction Program these past five years.
