Key Middle School Celebrates National School Lunch Week

Representatives from MCPS and the U.S. Department of Agriculture joined students at Francis Scott Key Middle School on October 13 to celebrate National School Lunch Week. Students shared their knowledge about healthy eating and nutrition through speeches, songs and digital presentations.

Tour and Tasting at New Central Kitchen

MCPS partnered with Maryland Hunger Solutions to host a tour of the district’s new Division of Food and Nutrition Services Central Production Facility on Sept. 24. State and county officials toured the 77,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility and sampled a variety of school menu items that were prepared on-site.
