Special Education:
Assistive Technology


An important function of the Department of Special Education is to research and deploy technologies to help students access curriculum and facilitate the learning process. This program demonstrates how soft ware programs and low-tech tools help special education students in reading and language arts, and how its use fosters achievement in core subject areas.
