EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedules appeal hearings with citizens and hearing officers. Initiates correspondence and follows up as required. Types correspondence, reports, tables, and graphs; sets up meetings; and maintains appointments calendar.Maintains database of all appeal/transfer activity.Maintains the correspondence control system to maintain accurate records of the status and location of incoming and outgoing correspondence.Accesses OASIS to get student information, generate reports, etc.Answers telephone calls, giving out a variety of procedural information in many cases and directs other calls to the proper person. Serves as receptionist for the office. Provides backup support to other positions within the office through such activities as typing correspondence and purchase orders, answering allocation questions, and checking on proper account numbers. Provides office-related support to the Office of the Chief Operating Officer. Performs other related work as required.
