EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides production support for remote and studio-based TV programs and other technical operations as assigned within the Department of Communications. 2. Ability to serve as a studio lighting designer, camera operator, technical director, videographer, audio person, floor director, teleprompter operator, non linear editor or sound technician and perform studio and remote camerawork. 3. Responsible for setup of multimedia equipment for production in the field and at meetings. 4. Monitors audio for live and taped productions in the studio and at remote locations. 5. Operates teleprompter both in the field and studio. May assist in teleprompter writing and editing. 6. May serve as technical director or switcher for producer-director. 7. Helps arrange for and transports equipment to and from remote locations. 8. Writes copy or articles for website. 9. Views videotape and creates editing log; records graphic elements, narration, music and special effects; creates edit version of film with closing credits. 10. Creates on-line edit master and backup master, produces labels and prepares tape for use. 11. Performs related work as required.
