The George Washington University and MCPS will co-host an information session for individuals who are interested in becoming certified to teach in Montgomery County schools through the Teachers 2000 Partnership. The meeting will be held on Monday, September 15 from 4 :00 until 6:00pm in the rear of the cafeteria of the Carver Educational Services Center.
Highly qualified candidates are needed in the areas of special education, mathematics, science (biology, physics, chemistry), Spanish, computer science. Special education paraeducators are encouraged to apply. Tuition support is provided for all courses required for licensure and stipends are available. Classes begin in May, 2009.
