POLICY EVALUATION

Policies are created by the Board of Education to guide MCPS operations. The policy evaluation process examines implementation procedures to determine the effectiveness of policies in achieving the Board’s desired outcomes. The policy evaluation reports detail the criteria for determining effectiveness, the methods used to collect data, recommendations for improvement, and successful practices.
