Mission Statement
The mission of the Office of Shared Accountability (OSA) is to provide timely information through evaluation, research, and testing services to support student succcess.

Vision
The Office of Shared Accountability will facilitate improvement efforts by providing information that support policy and program decision-making processes


OSA Goals
The Office of Shared Accountability (OSA) performs three primary services: evaluation, research, and testing. The following goals were established to align the work of OSA with the goals of Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS).

MCPS Goal 1: Ensure success for every student
MCPS Goal 2: Provide an effective instructional program

OSA Supporting Goals:

  1. Establish a system that provides timely data to support student success
  2. Establish a system that provides useful data to support student success
  3. Support continuous improvement efforts by providing evaluation, research, and testing services

MCPS Goal 3: Strengthen productive partnerships for education

OSA Supporting Goals:
  1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support systemic initiative
  2. Collaborate with external stakeholders to support systemic initiatives

MCPS Goal 4: Create a positive work environment in a self-renewing organization


OSA Supporting Goals:
  1. Build capacity and improve performance within the department
  2. Support MCPS staff in self-evaluation processes
