The MCPS Web site is a decentralized mega-site composed of more than 300 minisites
for 191 schools, 60 offices, and many special programs and initiatives. All
of these sites are created and maintained by their own webmasters. Most of
these sites take different approaches to navigation, page and site structure,
and content presentation.
To improve consistency and user experience, the MCPS Web Template was introduced
in March 2003 for all non-school Web sites.
As of summer 2008, all new non-school based sites will be created using the Tron web publishing system. If you are updating a non-school based site that uses either the hybrid site template or the original site template, please contact Web Services for assistance.
