ODD Day
PAWS 4

Good morning!

It's not too late!  You can still submit photos for the "Get Caught Reading" photo contest.  Email them to Mrs. Walker or bring them in to the Media Center.  Judging will take place on Wednesday 9/10 and the winners will be announced on Thursday 9/11.  Prizes will be awarded for winners in many different categories.  Please see Mrs. Walker if you have any questions.

The Annual Baker Basketball Shootout will be held on Thursday, September 25th after school in the gym from 3-4pm.  Boys and girls in grades 7 and 8 are eligible to participate this year.  Unfortunately 6th graders cannot attend this year due to Outdoor Education that will be held during the county competition week.  7th and 8th graders who would like to participate may sign up outside room 214.  Please see Ms. Orelli if you have any questions.

All students interested in being ambassadors for Back to School night must turn their permission form in to Ms. Haines by the end of the day today.

Students who have not turned in the homeroom forms that they were supposed to turn can still turn those forms in to the main office.  Please drop them off with Ms. Haines as soon as possible.  If you need additional forms, they can be downloaded from the homepage of the Baker website.

All students who are seriously interested in working out after school…As part of the intramural program, Mr. Standford will be running a workout club after school on September 23rd.  If you are interested you may get paperwork in the cafeteria or see Mr. Standford for more information.  There will be a limited number of students who may participate so it will be a first come first serve basis!

Have you done volunteer service over the summer? Student Service Learning Activity Verification forms are due to Mrs. Herman, SSL coordinator, by  September 26th.  Remember to completely fill out the form and write a reflection that demonstrates that you have met the need of the greater community.  Check the Baker website for news about Student Service Learning and current approved activities or see Mrs. Herman in the counseling office if you have any questions.

Hurry! It is not too late to join the Baker Cross Country Team.  Forms can be found outside of Room 214.  All forms must be completed by the September 9th.  Any questions, see Coach Bozicevich.

Have a good day here at Baker, where we make it happen!
