BES PTA Membership
The Bannockburn Elementary School Parent Teacher Association is supported by membership dues. PTA dues are just $20 per family, $15 per single-parent family, $10 per BES staff member.

When you join the BES Parent Teacher Association, your annual dues help support an array of activities, events and programs for the children of Bannockburn Elementary School.
- This year, the Bannockburn PTA will:
- bring cultural arts to all students through in-school performances and sponsor an "Artist-in-Residence" dance program for grades 3-5
- allow students to participate in a full length stage production of "Charlotte's Web" through the Drama Club
- in partnership with the NGA, bring back the popular Geography Bee; fund the new playground equipment and enhance the school grounds
- sponsor before-and after-school clubs, including Spanish, French, Chinese, Tae Kwon Do, Group Piano, Newspaper, Chess, and, new this year, for 5th graders, Media Production.
As part of your PTA membership, you will receive both a directory and a school calendar. The directory lists students alphabetically and by class -with phone numbers, addresses and e-mails. The wall calendar highlights important PTA events (such as the Welcome-Back Picnic, Bingo Night and Mayfair) and shows all days off and half days.
Bannockburn families that do not join the PTA may purchase school directories for $10 a piece and calendars for $5 each. Additional directories for PTA members will be available for $5 and extra calendars are available for purchase at $3 each.
