B-CC Ceramics
students and teacher Kathie Grove will be selling
their ceramic bowls, boxes and sculptures there
– a great chance to catch some rising
artistic stars and buy works of art for yourself
or for gifts.
All proceeds go to the student artists.

Life Drawing Class

B-CC High School
Class will be
taught by B-CC parent Kathryn Freeman (Vita),
a professor at The Corcoran College of Art &
Design and who teaches life drawing and painting
there. Paper, pencils, vine charcole and erasers
will be provided. There will be a $40 model
fee to cover a professional (clothed in costume)
model for the eight week course. Please see
Ms. A. White in B127 to get a parent permission
form.
Studio
Art 2D, Advanced Placement, course code 6486
(first semester) and 6487 (second semester)
(This is an individualized program
that focuses on art projects that demonstrate
the competencies expected of Advanced Placement
art applicants, as identified by the College
Board. Students assemble portfolios to meet
the submission requirements for the AP Exam.
Prerequisite: 2 credits, including Fundamentals
of Art, or Drawing and Design, and Studio Art
1A or 1B. This course may be repeated for credit.)
