General Information:
What is the Pine Tree Yearbook?
The Pine Tree yearbook is a student-produced account of clubs, sports, academics, student life, and people at B-CC High School. Students registered for the Yearbook course work under the guidance of the faculty adviser to produce a book that is held in high regard by students, parents, and members of the community. "Blue Prints" 2002 Pine Tree received the Columbia Scholastics Press Association Gold medalist award All-Columbian concept/ design. The 2003 Pine Tree was awarded the Bronze Medal by the Scholastic Yearbook Critique and won All-Columbian Honors in writing and photography.
Interested?
Students interested in registering for the course need to fill out the Pine Tree Application and complete the application assignments listed on the application. A schedule for expected completion of various yearbook pages is handed out at the beginning of the school year. About 70% of the pages are completed before winter break and most of the work is done by the end of the first semester. All pages are due at the printer around the beginning of the second semester, and proofs are due back in March. Thereafter students will begin work on the following year's Pine Tree, which covers the current school year's spring activities and the following school year's fall and winter activities.
