A note on homework . . .
Homework is an integral part of Geometry. I do not check every
assignment, but I expect all to be done completely and on time.
If you are absent the day homework is assigned or due, it is your
responsibility to get the assignment and show me any completed
work.
Class Expectations:
-
You are expected to be in your seat and writing when the tardy
bell rings. If you aren't, and you do not have a note, then you
will be charged with an unexcused tardy. Three unexcused tardies
equal one unexcused absence, five unexcused absences equal loss
of credit for the course.
- You should have a pencil, paper, your assignment book, textbook,
graphing calculator, and math three ring binder with you every
day in class. Come to class prepared.
- Unless it is a real emergency, you will not be allowed to
leave the room during class. Make sure you use the bathroom
and get your materials before the tardy bell rings.
- If you are absent, you need to call a buddy from your math
class and ask them for the assignment. You should have phone
numbers for at least three people in your class.
- There will be no food or drinks in class.
- Calculators are to be used for math purposes only. Any teacher
has the right to reset them or confiscate them if they are being
used inappropriately.
- If you are absent the day before a test, you will still take
the test on the assigned day. If you are absent on test day,
you will take it the day you get back.
