Dr. Martha Cohen came to teaching English through her career as a clinical psychologist. Her love of writing and of stories, combined with her academic training in philosophy, psychology, and education, drew her to working with young people as they develop critical literacy. Dr. Cohen is a mother of two girls and shares her home with two dogs, a cat, and a gecko. She is an avid swimmer, reader, and music lover.
