Jacob Hall

Bio:
Being raised on a farm in the North Carolina piedmont didn't stop Jacob Hall from getting around a bit. His wide ranging interests-not only in chemistry (which he teaches here at B-CC), but astrophysics, Egyptology, African affairs, ecology, astronomyqualify him as B-CC's Renaissance man. Mr. Hall has lived in the DC area for 5 years, and attended University of Maryland at College Park, where he received degrees in chemistry and secondary science education.

He credits growing up in North Carolina with giving him a love of the outdoors, and he hikes or camps whenever he has the chance. His travels a few years ago took him to England, where he participated in a summer program at the University of Cambridge to study astrophysics and Egyptology. Very impressive!
