Blackboard Instructions (for homework assignments)

Blackboard is an Internet site on which teachers can post assignments for quick reference by students and parents. I have created a Blackboard site for all of my classes. I will post the daily homework assignments in two-week increments. I will also post the paper and project assignment sheets on the day these are distributed to students.

The address for Blackboard is as follows: http://blackboard.mcps.k12.md.us When you click on the link to the left, a second browser window will be opened up. Close that window when you are done to return to the B-CC site.

To log on to Blackboard, please do the following:

1. Click the Login button
2. Click the Preview button (this logs you in as a guest)
3. Click the Courses tab (top of screen)
4. Click Bethesda-Chevy Chase
5. Type Haupt in the search window and click Go
6. Click the appropriate course – either English 10A or Honors English 10A.
