Bio:
Mr. Kenton grew up in White Oak and attended Montgomery
College where he received an associate's degree in Radio
and Television Production. For the last 25 years, he has
worked as a freelance editor and sound engineer for a variety
of clients including Paramount Pictures, the Discovery Channel,
National Geographic Channel, ABC and PBS. Ready for a change,
Mr. Kenton came to B-CC because he wanted to help others
learn the tools of the digital age.
Mr. Kenton lives in Silver Spring/Takoma Park with his
wife, Karen, who works at WETA-TV, and two middle school-age
daughters.
Other Information:
As Media Services Technician, Mr. Kenton is in charge of
all of the audio-visual equipment at B-CC, which includes
everything from setting up LCD projectors in classrooms
to getting the auditorium ready for events. Aside from these
responsibilities, Mr. Kenton is the technical director for
the theater program and staff leader for Wake-Up B-CC, the
student-produced morning TV show. |
