Bio: Cindi
Kornhaus teaches Piano class, Concert Orchestra, co-teaches
Symphonic Band, and the International Baccalaureate program's
Music History and Analysis. This is her 3rd year teaching
at B-CC. She plays cello in the McLean Orchestra*, is the
principal cellist in the Capital City Symphony*, and has
formed her own Cello Quartet.
Ms. Kornhaus graduated from University of Central Florida,
cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education.
She will be receiving her Master of Music Education degree
from UCF in December, 2007. While studying at UCF, Ms. Kornhaus
was asked to go on tour with the UCF Wind Ensemble to Czech
Republic and Hungary. She also studied abroad during a summer
at Moulin d’Ande in France. Music has also taken her
to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she subbed for the electric
cellist in the eclectic musical group Nova Era*.
