Bio:
A graduate of B-CC High School, Ms. Lambrakopoulos began
her university work at the University of Athens, Greece,
where she studied French, linguistics, philosophy, psychology,
and ancient Greek. She completed her B.A. in literature
and French at American University and later received an
M.A. in literature (with emphasis on comparative literature)
at the same university. She wrote her master's thesis on
Nikos Kazantzakis's Odyssey: A Modern Sequel. Ms. Lambrakopoulos
has also completed selected courses in administration and
supervision at Johns Hopkins University and special IB training
in Theory of Knowledge.
She enjoys languages, creative writing (especially poetry),
interdisciplinary teaching, art, archeology, music, photography,
philosophy and traveling. She has published poetry as well
as a review of Elizabeth Bishop's Geography III.
