Bio:
Dr. Teresa W. Nowogorska says B-CC's strong foreign language
program, particularly the addition of the language lab,
attracted her to our school.
She moved from her native Poland, where she earned
a master's degree in Romance languages from the University
of Wroclaw (Poland), to enroll as a PhD candidate and teaching
assistant at the University of Maryland in the French and
Italian departments. In addition to her work at Maryland,
she also taught at Trinity University, Howard University,
Bowie State University, Georgetown University (1982-1999)
and Rockville High School (2000-2005), before joining the
B-CC faculty in the fall of 2005.
When she's not busy teaching, Dr. Nowogorska enjoys
traveling, especially to northern climates such as Canada
and Scandinavia.
