Bio:
Susan Rojas has been with Montgomery County Public
Schools for seven years where she has taught both middle
school and high school social studies. She has a BA in Art
History from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota and
an MAT in secondary social studies education from American
University in Washington, DC. In 2001, Susan took a two-year
leave of absence to teach in Germany where she taught English
and social studies at Munich International School. She currently
lives in Washington, DC, but was born and raised in Montevideo,
Uruguay and has family in Santiago, Chile, New York City
and Minneapolis.
She enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, reading and anything
that constitutes adventure!
