Mr. Soboslay

Paul Soboslay joined the staff at B-CC in August of 2001 after teaching two years at Deer Park Middle Magnet School in Baltimore County. Mr. Soboslay was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he received his undergraduate degree in Communications from the University of Pittsburgh in 1989 and his masters in education from Duquesne University in 2001. Prior to teaching, he worked for the Hertz Corporation and Advantage Health in numerous management capacities.

At B-CC, Mr. Soboslay is currently the faculty advisor for the Student Government Association (SGA). Mr. Soboslay has also interacted with students as the JV Softball Coach (2002-2004) and the National Honor Society advisor during the 2001-2002 school year. In July of 2002 and 2003, Mr. Soboslay also assisted students by teaching a 3 week class similar to the current College Connections program that helped rising juniors and seniors to prepare for the college application process and explore future possible avenues in their education and careers.

Mr. Soboslay and his wife moved to Montgomery County in 1999 and have a beautiful daughter Caitlin, and a rambunctious dog Henry. During his free time, Mr. Soboslay enjoys golfing, playing baseball, traveling, working on home improvement projects and cheering on his beloved Pittsburgh sports teams.
