Club Function: This club participates in playing games of chess and participates in tournaments.

Have had 3 wins (against Maret, Cardoza, and McKinley Tech) and 1 loss (Churchill). Won last years state championship and came in second for the DC league. Have been a top competitor for 4 years now.

Meeting Time and Place: The club meets every Monday and Thursday (for Chess Team).

On Mondays, anyone can come to play, eveon if you are not experienced, and enjoy the atmosphere. Any member of the club can also challenge a member on the team to try and join it.

Held in Dr.Halperin's room (C213), and have brand new digtal cronos clocks (high end), and we have a demo board and several chess sets. We are using fritz to analyze our games in order to get better.
