International Club

2007-2008

Club Function:
Every year, we select a charity to sponsor all year. During the meetings, people volunteer to present their countries. We have had presentations on Burundi, the Philippines, and Thailand. Our biggest undertaking is International Night in February. We decorate the cafeteria, bring international food (last year we fed 800!), prepare country displays, and present a fashion show and traditional entertainment. We are also the sponsors of an assembly that is coming up: the invisible children about orphans in Uganda. They are a great group of students-a large and active club.
