Main Activities

ANNOUNCEMENTS AND REMINDERS...

•Graduation DVDs Ready for Pick-up: The 2008 graduation DVDs are now in the main office for pickup. Go to the main office and if you have prepaid, see Ms. Tobery; if you need to pay for the DVD, ask for Mr. Kenton.

•Buses to Graduation: The buses are full so no more requests can be accepted. Click here to see the list of those who have reservations. No ticket is required. A B-CC staff member will be checking the list at boarding. The bus will depart B-CC at 4:30pm on Wed., June 4, and will return approximately 30 minutes after graduation (which should end between 8:30pm and 8:45pm.)

•Tasks before Graduation: Before graduation, seniors are obligated to fill out the MSDE survey, the B-CC High School Family Connections survey, and give the Counseling Department a stamped/addressed envelope (with your name in the upper left corner) for your final transcript to be sent to the school of
your choice.

• Senior Class T-Shirts: Senior T-shirts will be sold at lunch on Mon. and Tues. (10/8/07 and 10/9/07) in the atrium for $10.00.

• Senior Portraits: If you have not had your Senior Portrait taken yet, please check the list outside of Ms. Kirks room A302 for your appointment date and time. If you do not have your picture taken, you will NOT be in the yearbook!

• Senior Parent Information Meeting: Wed., Sept. 26, 7pm to around 8:30pm, Auditorium
Parents of seniors are encouraged to attend this meeting. Ms. Foland from the Guidance Department will go over items related to college applications. Ms. Lockard and Mr. Orlando will go over important dates for seniors and answer any questions related to your child's senior year.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, please check the B-CC website a few days after the meeting for the information discussed at the meeting.

• Senior Picture Make-Up Days: October 2-5, 2007. This is the last chance for seniors to have their pictures taken here at B-CC. Appointment times are posted outside Ms. Kirk's room - A302.
You need to call the Lifetouch customer service number at 1-800-445-1189:
1) if you need to change or make an appointment; or
2) if you wish to have a picture retaken
Please note:
1) If you are a senior new to B-CC, be sure to call Lifetouch to make an appointment.
2) Students may take photos after the above dates until 10/27 at the Lifetouch studio.
3) If a senior does not take a picture by 10/27, he/she cannot be in the yearbook.

• 1st Quarter Grades to Colleges: Seniors who would like their first quarter grades sent to their early decision school, please bring a stamped/addressed envelope and .10 cents. Please bring these things to Ms. Peebles in the guidance office.

• Release form needed before transcripts can be sent: All seniors who wish transcripts sent out this year as part of the college application process need to fill out the Information Release Form (yellow)and have it signed by your parents.
Drop it off asap in the Guidance Center. No information can be sent out from B-CC about you without this release form

• Register to Vote: Students who will be 18 before November 6, 2007 and are a US citizen are eligible to vote in the next election. Please stop by the attendance hall atrium so that the SGA can register you to vote.
