Welcome
Welcome to Beall! We are already working to make 2005-2006 a great
year for the Beall community. Our first PTA meeting will be held in
October (the exact date is yet to be determined) from 7:00-8:30 PM in
the Media Center. Light refreshments will be served starting at 6:45
pm.
The Beall Elementary Parent Teachers Association (PTA) is a volunteer,
nonprofit organization dedicated to the advocacy and support of the
Beall Elementary School students and their families' concerns. Our goal
is to strengthen the educational partnership of students, teachers,
parents, and our community.
All PTA meetings are open to students, teachers, administration, staff,
and parents. Everyone is invited to join.
Membership dues..........$6.00 per person

The PTA Mission is threefold:

To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools,
community, and before governmental bodies and other organizations
that make decisions affecting children;
-
To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and
protect their children; and
-
To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools
of the nation.
Objectives of the PTA
-
To promote the welfare of children and youth in the home, school,
community, and place of worship;

To raise the standards of home life:
-
To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children
and youth to bring into closer relation the home and school.

To enable parents to be involved in the education of children and
youth; and
-
To develop between educators and the general public such united
efforts as well as secure for all children and youth the highest advantages
in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.

A Message from our PTA President
The Beall Elementary Parent Teachers Association (PTA) is a volunteer,
non-profit organization dedicated to the advocacy and support of the
Beall Elementary School students and their families' concerns. Our goal
is to strengthen the educational partnership of students, teachers,
parents, and our community.
When we have both school and parental participation, it makes for an
even better place for our children to learn and grow. Parents can offer
valuable knowledge and experience in many areas. There are many ways
for parents to participate that do not require a great deal of time.
Any and all involvement is always appreciated.
Although only members can vote, everyone is welcome to attend all General
PTA meetings. This year the PTA plans to have guest speakers at General
Meetings which are generally held on the first Tuesday of each month
at 7:00 pm in the Media Center. In addition, you as parents may suggest
topics for future meetings which will be shared with the school administration
and staff. Your input to specific topics of interest will make the meetings
informative and useful to all parents.
