Student Government Association
The purpose of the SGA (Student Government Association) is to give students a voice in some of the activities that take place in our school. Students enthusiastically give ideas about things they want to see take place in our community and how they can make the learning environment safe and fun.
Students have started to plan activities for the upcoming school year. Many of the ideas include ways to help those in our community, improve our environment, and build pride in our school. Canned food, teddy bear, coat, and mitten drives are just some of the community service events we have planned. The executive board of the SGA has also planned to look into adopting a road for our school.
The executive board has focused on working to help improve the environment and sprit of our community. We welcome the support of those in our community as we continue to make Burning Tree a wonderful place to learn and grow.
