“Working, Learning, and Growing Together” |
Dear Parents, August, 2009 I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Brian Lucas and I am beginning my nineteenth year of teaching elementary school. I did my undergraduate studies at Clarion University of Pennsylvania, and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. I completed graduate school at Hood College, and received my Master’s of Science Degree in Educational Leadership. Additionally, through the National Boards for Professional Teaching Standards, I have become a National Board Certified Teacher. As a National Board Certified Teacher, I have had many opportunities to guide and teach teachers throughout the state of Maryland. Part of my responsibility is to continually reflect and analyze my teaching strategies based on student successes, while using the most recent research and highly effective techniques. Sincerely, |
| Say hello to our class mascot. M.R. BUCK | Mr. Deer looks over the class as we read and write. |
