About Our School

Clopper Mill Elementary School is located in a rapidly growing suburban area approximately 25 miles north of Washington, DC in Germantown, Maryland. It is home to a culturally diverse population of approximately 440 students in grades pre-K through 5. CMES is part of the Northwest High School Cluster of schools in Montgomery County, Maryland. Our mascot is the Cougar.

The people of Clopper Mill Elementary School promote a nurturing academic and social environment for everyone. We consistently strive to provide academic excellence by setting goals for achievement, supporting those goals with effective practices, and evaluating our progress. We consistently strive to provide an excellent climate by demonstrating cooperation with and respect for each other.
