Mission Statement
The mission of the Darnestown Elementary Media Center is to support the
instructional program, to foster a love of reading and a love of learning,
and to implement a research program designed to support the curriculum
at all levels.

Media Schedule
Students is Grades K-2 visit the media center weekly
Students in Grades 3-5 visit the media center as needed
Circulation Policy
All classes have book exchange every other week
Kindergarten may check out one book per week.
First Grade may check out two books per week.
Students in grades 2-5 may check out two books (or a magazine and book).
Magazines and picture books are due in one week. Chapter books are due
in two weeks.
