Counselor

Meet Mrs. Pape and read about the School Counseling Program.
Fun Family Tip of the Week
As a family, go above and beyond in helping someone out. Give someone a "great day." Maybe you have a neighbor with young children. You can give her a break by preparing a meal for her family or volunteering your family for a night of babysitting. Point out times when your child goes above and beyond. Praise him/her for these actions!Resources
News and Announcements
If you have a 5th grade child who has engaged in a volunteer activity that occurred, at least in part, after September 1, 2008, they can apply for the Prudential Spirit of Community Award.
They should complete an application online at the above link; fax the signature page to 1-615-627-9685; and submit a printout of the application to the school counselor.
Does your child meet one of the following criteria:
Achievement on the 95th percentile or higher on one or more subtests of a nationally normed standardized test, achievement at advanced levels on state tests, designated as scoring in categories such as advanced proficiency, distinguished, honors or gifted, or demonstration of superior academic performance.
Please call me if you are interested in having your child participate in this talent search.
