The Principal's Athletic Readers Program
Albert Einstein Scholar Athletes volunteer time to read and answer questions about high school to fourth graders in their elementary feeder schools. This is the outgrowth of Principal James Fernandez and cluster principals who wish to promote literacy skills, strengthen student relations, and demystify the high school experience.
Einstein students will visit the elementary schools several times throughout the school year to read to students. Elementary students will receive invitations and tickets to visit high school sporting and performance events. Einstein High School, Highland Elementary and Oakland Terrace Elementary are featured in the photos.
