Attention all sophomores! The ACES program, Achieving Collegiate Excellence and Success, is currently accepting applications for the 2017/2018 school year.  The ACES program is a completely free program offered to Einstein students to assist with all aspects of the college process. Students only have one chance to apply in the 10th grade.  If you are interested and need more information, you may contact Amani Dadzie in Room 113 (next to the career center) or call 240-863-8075.  You may also visit montgomerycollege.edu/aces  for more information. 

 

If teachers or staff would like to recommend students please contact Ms. Dadzie. The deadline to apply is fast approaching.  There are only 60 spots available - apply now!

 

The winter dance and Jazz concert will take place at 7 pm tomorrow!   Tickets are $5 in advance and $8 at the door.  You can purchase tickets on Main Street at lunch!

 

Hello Titans! The GEMS group is hosting a coat drive to help keep others warm, as the winter season is quickly approaching and we need your help! If you or any of your family members have coats that you do not need, please bring them to Ms. Snead in room #275. All coats will be donated to local shelters. Let's help make a difference. Thank you in advance for your donations.

 

Newport Mill Middle School is seeking applicants to provide French tutoring during the Homework Club that meets on Wednesdays after school.  You will earn SSL hours.  French students in levels 3 and above are encouraged to apply.  See Ms. Harris or Ms. Ramos for the application.

Einstein STAGE is at it again - auditions for the spring show are going on now!  ONCE UPON A MATTRESS  is a musical theatre classic based on "The Princess and the Pea" and is sure to be a big hit.  For audition details see Mr. Smeallie in the choral room.

 

IT'S GETTING COLD! STAY WARM THIS WINTER WITH AN AEHS WINTER HAT - GRAB ONE FOR $10 FROM THE TABLE ON MAIN STREET THIS WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. ALSO AVAILABLE WILL BE THE CLASS OF 2020'S LONG SLEEVE SHIRT, $15 WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.

 

SENIORS - have you paid your dues yet?  Senior dues are $50 and can be paid by cash or check to Mr. Nappo or Mr. Ramos.  Dues pay for graduation-related expenses, and you will not be permitted to participate in graduation if you have not paid your Senior dues! Don't delay, pay your senior dues today.

 

The Academy of Finance will be selling Holiday Grams for $5 during lunch on Main Street thru Dec. 18, 2017. A holiday Gram includes:  Gift bag, Teddy Bear, Message & Special Treat.

 

Hi, Titans! We are already starting to register for our classes next year! To help you pick your courses, we are hosting an Elective Fair all next week in the gym during lunch. Your teachers will be there to answer your questions about the different courses they teach - from AP and IB courses to elective courses, like art, music, theater, dance and PE.

 

Monday is the Arts Department.

Tuesday is the Math and Science Departments.

Wednesday is the English and World Languages Departments.

Thursday is the Social Studies Department.

Friday is the Business, Tech and PE Departments.

 

Attention Bocce Ball Athletes!  The Bocce Ball team will be holding its first practice of the season TODAY. The practice will run from after school until 4 o'clock. If you have any questions, contact Mr. Donohue in room 149.

Montgomery College is offering 2 fantastic Scholars Programs: MC Scholars and the Macklin Business Institute Honors Program. You can launch your career at a fraction of the cost of most 4 year colleges. Special scholarships are available to students who live in Montgomery County. Please, see Mrs. Lehman in the Career Center for more details and application. Deadline: January 5th

 

All techies and gamers interested in coding competitions, game design, animations, original app designs, cybersecurity, and much more. Please meet Mrs. Lewis and Mrs. Norris in LAB 134, every Thursday at lunch to explore and tap into other areas of tech, gaming, and programming.

Students this week we will continue our YMCA after school program. Board games, card games, and Xbox one games will be readily accessible. SNACKS WILL BE PROVIDED.!  Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 

 

French tutoring is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays in Room 28 during lunch.  French Honor Society members will be present to assist students.

 

The Spiritual Club wants to help you work on your soul and spirit and welcomes all belief systems, so please attend the meeting on Wednesday in room 150, from 2:40- 3:30pm.

 

There will be a meeting of THE CHRISTIAN CLUB, at lunch EVERY Friday in room 263.  All those interested in the relevance of Christianity are welcome to attend.
