In Mrs. Guerra's 4th & 5th grade ESOL class, we have been studying pourquoi stories.  Pourquoit means "why" in French, and pourquoi stories are fictional accounts of how or why something in nature occurred.  As a final activity for this unit, students wrote their own pourquoi stories.
