Montgomery College (formerly MCPS) SAT Prep Course Registration Information - The SAT Preparation Program that has been administered by the Montgomery County Public Schools Adult Education Office for the past 25 years has transitioned to Montgomery College. It will be administered by the Workforce Development & Continuing Education office. The curriculum and design of the program will continue as before. Montgomery College will maintain current course locations in various MCPS high schools.

Nomination packets for the United States Service Academies (Air Force, Naval, West Point and Merchant Marine) for the class entering July 2008 are available in your College/Career Center compliments of Congressman Chris Van Hollen (8th District, Maryland).   Completed applications are due to the Congressman's Rockville office in OCTOBER of each year .  Additional information is available through the web site www.house.gov/vanhollen  Students who do not have access to the Internet may obtain a hard copy of the application by calling 301.424.3501. 

Additional ResourcesDo you need to pursue a GED? The GED Test is a standardized high school equivalency examination taken for a Maryland high school diploma. The Tests of General Education Development (GED) consists of five tests and requires 7 hours and 5 minutes to complete. The GED Program is now a part of Montgomery College Workforce Development & Continuing Education.   • At least 16 years old.
  • not a high school graduate
