Mrs. Shana Schnaue
Mrs. Schnaue, the Guidance Counselor at Garrett Park, has an opportunity to work with all students. The most important part of the job is getting to know each student and listening to his or her concerns. A counselor's goal is to encourage each child to become the best student and person they can possibly be. During the school year, classroom lessons are taught on character education, problem solving, and interpersonal skills. Many students are involved in small group and individual counseling sessions as the need arises.
