The Garrett Park Music Program offers experiences in singing, movement, instrument-playing, and composing at all levels.  In the primary grades students work on matching pitch, basic rhythmic and melodic patterns, simple folk dances in circles, and simple arrangements for classroom instruments.  In the upper grades, students study more complex rhythmic and melodic patterns, folk dances with more complex steps, and four and five part arrangements for classroom instruments.  All grade levels perform for parents at least once during the year.
