Jones Lane Elementary
In honor of Black History Month, some of the students in grade 4-5 are participating in the Black Saga Competition. Students involved in the competition have studied numerous facts on the contributions of African Americans to the American heritage. We have twelve semi-finalists who competed on Wednesday, February 20th to become finalists at the state competition which will be held at Towson University in March. Dr. Charles Christian, author of the book Black Saga-The African American Experience, hosted our semi-finalists' competition.
