SCHOOLS Welcome to Stephen Knolls School of the Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland. We are one of a few select Alternative Schools in MCPS to support students ages 3 to 21, all of whom have very special needs. We also have a comprehensive preschool program. Our student population includes those who have severe and profound disabilities as well as students with medically fragile conditions.
