The PTA is reestablishing the Bulldog Chess Team. The team will be open to 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students and meet on Tuesday mornings from 8:00-9:05am outside the APR entrance starting October 9th. Younger students will be considered on a space available basis. Students who are either already playing chess or would like to learn how to play chess are welcome to join the team.

During team, we will focus on basic moves and strategies as well as good sportsmanship.

Register your interest on the attached form (26 KB PDF) and return the completed form to the PTA mailbox, attention: Chess Club - Lori Hoskins. For more information please contact Lori Hoskins at dlhoskins@comcast.net or 301-414-5479.

Chess Masters are also needed to help with the team on an either one-time or ongoing basis. If you are available, please contact Lori.
